BAD IMAGE

Hi, 

I  just want to share my family's experience with Great Image SM San Lazaro branch. I just want to complain that afternoon of May 23, 2010. My sister decided to pay for the family portrait photos and she paid P3,500. 

We had like 15 minutes of photo shoot but because we're on a tight budget we were not able to print all of the photos. But your CASHIER (Girl) and 1 Staff (Guy) ASSURED us many times that OUR PHOTOS WILL BE SAVE IN THEIR DATABASE AND WILL BE GOOD FOR ONE YEAR SO WE CAN JUST GO BACK AND HAVE THEM REPRINT AT A PRICE OF P200.

Honestly, The P200 WAS A RIPPED OFF! FOR 1 PHOTO TO BE PUBLISH IN FACEBOOK I HAVE TO PAY P200?!! EXCUSE ME!! There was a poster hanging in your store about getting a photo package and you can have your photos posted in facebook. When I asked your rep (girl and the boy) she said that its no longer available. But what I don't understand is why is there a posting for that promotion still!!!

Ok it's not available, so we moved on. We were able to print the photos we selected and before we left we asked them again about the photos that will be save for one year in their data base and the girl said: "Pwede nyong balikan ung pics niyo at upload natin sa facebook nyo.."

It has been 2 months since we visited the store so my sister yesterday July 9, 2010 decided to drop by SM SAN LAZARO to print the remaining photos and to her surprise here was her exact text message to me:

"Hay naku ata Mk at Kuya Brian nakakainis ung Great Image sa SM SAN LAZARO. Di ba sabi sa atin nung nagpapicture tayo na pwede nating balikan ung pics natin at iupload sa facebook na ang bayad ay P200 per upload good for 1 year from the date that we took the pic!

Alam mo ba excuse nila sa akin now PROMO LANG DAW UN. Matagal na daw wala un. Andun din ung photograper, pinagalitan ko sila. At alam mo ba sabi sa akin di mo ba maintindihan MISS WALA NA!! Aba naginit dugo ko. Sabi ko Kuya niintihdan ko pero UNG SENSE NG CUSTOMER SERVICE NIYO DI NIYO PINAIRAL. SABI KO I'M DISAPPOINTED TAPOS UMALIS NA AKO.

Tapos sabi lang nung photographer na mataba na maputi at chinito CGE, CGE,CGE NA... Kainis!! Sarap sabunutan!!"


You may find it funny but we don't. Those photos were very memorable to us especially to my mom who had been begging us to have a family photo shoot before she dies. Those were memorable photos and we lost them because of bad customer service.

Hindi na eto dahil sa hindi namin na upload ung photos sa facebook eh, it's about TRUST. We trusted them. We asked them many times and they said yes we can always come back and print the rest of the pictures but they BROKE THEIR PROMISE.

You know Great Image, one of the things I have learned in my life is to VALUE OUR CUSTOMERS. It is true that CUSTOMERS MAY NOT ALWAYS BE RIGHT. BUT WHEN YOU MAKE A PROMISE YOU HAVE TO LIVE UP TO THAT PROMISE.  

GREAT IMAGE SM SAN LAZARO BRANCH BROKE OUR TRUST. WE WERE DECEIVED AND MISLEAD! 

If we were only well off I will not hesitate to waste my time and money and file a case against your company and your people for misleading us.  But given the circumstances that we have to work for a living i'm not gonna do that but instead we that is my mom, my sisters and me VOWED to never go back to your SM SAN LAZARO BRANCH and NEVER patronize ALL GREAT IMAGE branches ever again.. 

That's a commitment Great Image and we promised to do it for the rest of our life.

  1. Naku balasubas talaga ang mga tao sa Great Image. Dati nagpapicture kami sa SM centerpoint.
    Excited kaming makuha. Sabi nila 1 hour, binalikan namin after 1.5 hours, sabi nila wala pa. Bumalik kami after 2 hours, sabi wala pa. Bumalik kami after 3 hours, nagalit sa amin. Kung di raw kami titigil sa kakatanong tatamaan
    kami. Sus parang mga sangano ang mga tao diyan.

    1. parang over naman ata yang comment mo? regula client ako sa great image sm center point, mababait ang mga tao doon, baka naman ikaw ang rude?

  3. thanks for this blog. minsan hindi lang un expertise ng isang company yun mahalaga, pati rin yung pakikitungo nila sa mga customer nila. nakaka-disappoint kung hanggang ngayon ganyan pa din.

  4. Same experience in SM Lipa Branch. Talagang rude ang mga staff nila and cla pa tlga ang my gana mgalit sa customer.

  5. Lahat ng nag ttrabaho sakanila ganyan. Mayabang kase sila. Babayaran naman. Sana mag close na sila kung ganun lang din. Hindi sila nakaka tulong at lalong hindi sila worth it. Over price pa!!!!!!!

  8. naku sm aura branch purket sosyal ang place feeling ng mga staff, yan first experience namin. yung second ngayon lang kakabukas lang ng nila 10 am ask ng receptionist kung may appointmnt kme ksi may nauna na, ksi may naka lista na 1 pang second nlng daw kme, sabi ko sure ka wala ng ibang naka schedule sabi pa nya wala na daw sabi ko ok lang pang 2 namn kme. then sbi ng girl 11 pa daw ddting yung photographer so mga 10:30 sbi ko babalik kme 11 ikot ikot muna kme so nung 11 na nag start na ung 1 then almost 12 na natapos akala ko kame na ung mga pamilyang naka abang dun sa reception sila na daw susunod sabi ko pang 2 kme sbi nila nka appointment daw sila kaya nagulat ako ask ko ung babae pang ilan ba kame then sabi nya pang 4, wow nakakagulat yata un.sabi pa ng girl ksi daw naka appointmnt sila. what?! sabi ko. bkit kanina ang sabi mo wala ng iba pang naka appointmnt then ngyn sasabihin nya na toxic daw sya kaya di nya nalala. matapos ba naman kme mag antay ng 2 hrs ngayon lang nya sasabihin na di nya alam yung mga sinasabi nya (2hrs ago) tapos panay pa ang pag ngiti ngiti nya. grabe napaka bastos nga babae na un tapos ginawa pa nya kaming tanga. kawawa ung mga kids ko antay kme ng antay sa sahig nga lang sila nauupo dahil walang available na upuan tapos gaganunin pa nya kame. napaka sama ng ugali at serbisyo nila. "Palitan na dapat yung receptionist nila!"rose ann ang name nya... ingat kayo sa kanya!

Awwwww..... may kaibigan akong nag wowork sa great image okay naman sila pero ang hinding hindi ko makakalimutan at talagang iniyakan ko ng ilang gabi eh nung sinabihan ako nung HR na babae nung final interview ko na hindi ako tunay na islam..... masyado kang mapanghusga 2 months palang akong nagbalik islam kaya hindi ko pa alam lahat ng dapat gawin bilang isang islam nakatira ako sa muslim area at kung magiikot kayo dito iba iba kami ng paraan ng paglagay ng kumbong hindi un ang basihan ng pagiging muslim next time maging dahan dahan naman kayo sa pananalita oo kelangan nmen ng trabaho pero kung ganun naman kayo sa inyo na trabaho niyo samen na dignidad nmen salamat .

  10. Sent to great image a complaint!
    Id like to complain about the service I got from your branch in Sm Dasmariñas last January 23!
    I am devastated since we paid more than 3000ph for portraits that were supposed to be a memorable one before our flight back to Saudi Arabia!
    We were welcomed by the manager and he said he is not the photographer but rather the 2 staff with him!that day they were preparing for an event for great image and I was asking them if we still have time to do the shoot and they assured us that we have enough time but we have to come back the following day to get the photos.
    So we availed the package and to our surprise he (the manager)was the one who took the shots!
    After the pictorial we were asked to select photos.
    And we selected.
    The next day we picked up the pics and it was really horrible! Great image is known for good photography that's why we opt to do our family portrait in one of your branch because of the reputation you uphold!
    We began complaining about the pictures amd the staff replied" sorry we cant give any answer because the one who took the pics (the manager) is on leave. We demanded for the OR they said theyre not issuing official receipt, how come? It's their obligation to issue the OR and it is our right to demand but we failed. They even said it was our fault because we chose those pics! They said they will just try to edit again! Ill be sending u copies of the pics, and mind you, it is not us who should adjust to get the best shots and angle esp the background, it is the job of your photographer and we paid for that!

    1. Samples lang naman ang maganda, kapag nagpaphoto shoot ka na , kung sino sino lang ang kumukuha.

  11. SM megamall experience. Mayayabang nga sila at di naman kagandahan yung shots at over edited nagiiba yung itsura, parang nagbeauty effect sa celphone.

    1. Same experience here. Actually may alam kaming studio dito sa Pateros, yun nga lang by appointment pa, that time kasi malapit ng ibalik yun rented na gown ng anak ko at nakalimutan naming magpaset ng appointment sa emc creative photography/ clix kaya SM meagamll Great image kami nagpunta, yun palpak yung mga shots, parang trainee lang ang kumuha ang mahal mahal pa. Very disappointed!
